Mathemedix’s customer file is confidential and its data is not disclosed. The information is not used for marketing without separate permission.
Mathemedix delivers ordered goods primarily through DHL/UPS or mail. If the ordered product is no longer in stock, we will notify you as soon as possible. The delivery time for products in stock is normally 2-10 days. The deliver time for products we have to order is 2-8 weeks, and 2-6 months for products made separately or customized for the customer. The shipping company delivers the items to the address specified by the customer.
The service includes one delivery attempt. We charge a new shipping fee for resends.
Payment methods
By invoice and payment methods approved by Visma Pay. When selecting an invoice for online orders, an invoice is sent to the billing address indicated at the time of delivery. The payment term for an invoice is net 14 days. Interest on late payment is in accordance with the interest act in force at the time. You must provide a Business ID/VAT number in order to pay by invoice. If necessary, we reserves the right to require a prepayment and/or to suspend delivery.
The payment intermediary for the online store is Visma Pay (Paybyway Oy, Business ID 2486559-4), which is registered in the register of payment service providers maintained by the Financial Supervisory Authority. Payment is made via Visma Pay’s online service and your bank statement or invoice will show Visma Pay or Paybyway Oy as the recipient of the payment. Visma Pay forwards payments to the online retailer. Payment is safe, as all information about the payment transaction is transmitted using an encrypted connection so that no third party can see the details of the payment transaction.
The transaction is created between the customer of the online store and the online store. The online store is responsible for all obligations related to the purchase.

Through Visma Pay you can pay with online banking identifiers, wallet, payment cards (credit/debit), invoice or installment. The following payment methods are available: Osuuspankki, Nordea, Danske Bank, Oma Säästöpankki, Säästöpankki, Aktia, Paikallisosuuspankit, S-Pankki, Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken, MobilePay, Masterpass, Pivo, Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Debit MasterCards, as well as Jousto and Enterpay Lasku for companies.
Value added tax (VAT)
The prices of all our products are shown without VAT. Vat 25,5% is added when needed.
Warranty
The warranty is determined in accordance with the warranty terms specified by the manufacturer of the product. The Seller shall be released from liability if the defect or breakage was caused by an accident, use that is contrary to the instructions or intended use of the product, or for some other reason for which the customer is responsible. The customer must report a product defect as soon as the defect is detected.
Return policy
The Customer has the right to return a product within 14 (14) days of receiving the product if the reason for the return is due to an error by Mathemedix, such as the delivery of the wrong product, a defect, or a manufacturing fault in the product. In these cases, Mathemedix will cover the return costs. The cancellation must take place within the above time by e-mail and the product must be returned within the same time to Mathemedix Oy, Finnoonniitynkuja 7, 02270 Espoo.
If the Customer wishes to return a correctly delivered and faultless product, the return is possible, but the Customer is responsible for the return costs. The purchase price of the returned product will be refunded provided that the product and its packaging are returned without delay, unused, and in perfect condition, together with a copy of the delivery note or invoice.
A payment made for the order will be refunded to the Customer no later than 30 days after the goods have been returned and inspected by Mathemedix. The refund of the purchase amount is made by bank transfer to the account provided by the Customer.
Complaints
Before accepting a shipment, the Customer must check that it has not been damaged during transport. If there are clear signs of damage to the package, a damage report must be submitted immediately to the carrier and Mathemedix must be notified [email protected] or 0503779571.
If the wrong product has been delivered to the customer or the product is incorrect or damaged, the customer must immediately report this to [email protected]. The message shall include the product details, the order date, the customer’s contact details and the reason for the complaint. The wrong product will be returned without postage costs to the sender, and we will send more detailed instructions by email. The product is returned after making the complaint.
If the product is defective, the online store always has the right to replace the product with a similar product which is not defective.
Force majeure
In the event of force majeure, Mathemedix may postpone the delivery of a product or cancel the entire order by refunding any amount paid by the customer for the purchase back the customer. Examples of force majeure include actions taken by an authority, an infectious disease situation, a technical failure, interruption of operations as a result of water damage or fire or other accident, an interruption of public transport or energy supply, a labor dispute or any other similar reason of equally significant and unusual effect which Mathemedix could not reasonably have taken into account and whose consequences it could not reasonably have avoided.

We reserves the right to cancel an order in the case of obvious price errors.
The online store has the right to change the service, its contents and availability at any time, as well as the terms of this agreement, without notifying you by email, letter or online store website. The changes will take effect immediately, in such a way that customer’s orders are subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time of ordering. Before ordering, the customer must always read the terms of delivery in force at that time.
